세계 바이러스 & 세균 예방 협회는 인류의 건강과 공공 안전을 지키기 위한 선제적 대응을 목표로 설립되었습니다.
저희는 감염병의 확산을 막고, 과학적 정보와 올바른 방역 교육을 전 세계에 보급함으로써 보다 안전하고 건강한 사회를 만들어가고자 합니다. 뉴욕 본부를 중심으로 각국의 지역 사무국과 연계하여 교육, 연구, 정책 자문, 국제 인증 등 다양한 활동을 펼치고 있으며, 특히 취약 계층에 대한 실질적인 지원과 공공복지 증진을 우선시하고 있습니다.
"세계는 눈에 보이지 않는 바이러스와 세균과의 전쟁 속에 있다"는 말처럼, 예방은 단순한 선택이 아니라 생존을 위한 필수 조건입니다.
앞으로도 저희 협회는 신뢰받는 글로벌 보건 네트워크로서 책임을 다하고, 지속가능한 건강 환경을 위해 최선을 다하겠습니다.

Message from the Chairperson
The world today continues to face invisible yet formidable threats from viruses and bacteria. In an era where pandemics transcend borders and affect all aspects of human life, science-driven action and global cooperation are more critical than ever.
The World Virus Bacteria Prevention Association (WVBPA) was established as an international nonprofit organization headquartered in New York, with the mission of proactively addressing infectious disease threats and promoting global public health. Our association focuses on evidence-based education, professional training, international certification of products and environments, policy advisory, and data-driven research to advance prevention efforts worldwide.
The Korea Office serves as our operational hub in Asia, leading field-based initiatives such as community education, vulnerable population support, and public-private partnerships to strengthen local preparedness and resilience.
At WVBPA, we are committed to going beyond information sharing—we aim to build sustainable global health security and contribute to a healthier, safer world for all. With the support of dedicated experts, volunteers, and partners across sectors and nations, we will continue to lead initiatives that protect lives and uplift communities.
